Greater Bay Area Regional Office Moving from San Francisco to Oakland

The California Endowment Greater Bay Area Regional Office is moving from San Francisco to downtown Oakland, Calif., in order to better accomodate the needs of our grantees. The upcoming move will provide more conference room space for nonprofit, community-based organizations with a health-related mission or meeting agenda at no cost. And as The Endowment moves forward in its strategic vision for the next decade, having the capacity to offer additional meeting and convening space to grantees and partners to network, collaborate and learn from each other becomes a critical success factor.

Building Healthy Communities: Strategic Vision Web Site Online

In 2010, The California Endowment will embark on a new, 10-year strategic direction: Building Healthy Communities. Our goal is to support the development of communities where kids and youth are healthy, safe and ready to learn. We have created a special Web site to answer questions about The Endowment and changes in its programmatic direction.
